Hey guys, updating this with a more detailed crop. Really fell in love with the comp of this one so decided to change it over to the original :)

Here is one of the main characters of that sci fi book I was telling you about. I wanted to create kind of a deep sea/tropical fish/mixed with some type of native of this aquatic planet. I fell in love with the hair idea, as if it was a fish tail..and the rest just came form that.


As for the story she came from, the more I think about it, the less I want to do it. The story is starting to share too many similiarities with some big sci fi movies coming out this year and next, so I want to keep it as fresh as possibile.


But I got a better idea for it...

Done last year in PS CS 4 in about three days..

Nice, the fish tail hair is wonderfully done :D

As far as the story you're working on goes... everything's always similar to something else, all you've got to do is find your own take on it. Heh, don't know if that helps at all really :D
