I want everyone's opinion on this. So write, seriously.

I wrote a huge journal about this, then DA f'd it up..so

I'll just say this in little bullet points.

-Games are becoming larger and larger as an industry

-I'm not sexist at all, but these two woman are some of the most ignorant people I've ever seen.

-I'm for game ratings (Everyone-Mature) and I WOULD watch what my kids (when I have them) are playing..

But seriously? The shit these two woman are saying is completely ridiculous, especially if you've played the game..I can't even handle listening to Cooper Lawrence, the woman in red that speaks with that fucking smirk on her face.

Go Geoff of G4TV for sticking it out maturely and not being a complete ass like she was..especially after "Let me at em'!" And then they cut him off while he's speaking, great job FOX. fucking hacks.

Discuss, DONT REVIEW THE GAME.

I love what the two have to say too..how HARD itd be to pick a game with a suitable rating, or how TERRIBLE it is for our generation..jesus.

And for those of you that question why I'm mad, I work in this business so this shit effects everything game developers/artist/modelers/etc do.

  • Mood: Pride
  • Watching: THE OFFICE.
  • Playing: Call of Duty 4...seriously, nothing else.

Mass Effect was a pretty fun game. I like games where you design stuff, so making your own Commander person was fun. I think they focused a little too much on the way the game looked instead on how it played, because the combat system was a little tough at times, and my older brother (he's a HUGE video-game fanatic) thought the same thing after I got it for him for Christmas. Overall though, I'd give it a....7/10. Or 3/5.

From my understanding of my roommate, he played because he had a massive amount of history and amazing story.

I'm surprised there isn't one for God of War, which was out before Mass Effect.

I'm not for blanket assumptions on anything... politics, art, games, etc. on down the line. Being the US of A, we have lots of laws that protect expression, etc. I think parents do need to be more responsible with their kids... what they watch, listen to, play, read, etc.

Otherwise, I'm not keen on violent games. Period. My personal preference. It seems like a contradiction... a game? that's violent? (I had to forbid our young daughters from watch Power Puff Girls for awhile, because they were being aggressive and that turned out to be the source.)

My kids do not play or watch anything that outside the rating of their age, and even then so, our parental discretion.

What do you mean 'games are becoming larger and larger'? That one kinda whistled over the top of my head. ;)

I don't want to get into an argument about these issues... I'm just putting in my two whatever because, well you demanded it. ;)

I thought that this aspect was one of the best represented sex scenes in a video game. There was an entire romantic upbringing leading up to the "sex" and in that sex scene there was no nudity, besides some backside. Unlike god of war where you can jump into a threesome at anytime. It's retarded. I hate how video games always get noticed for stuff whereas movies that have sexist things everywhere and are never adressed, stupid.

Its Fox News. Thats should be enough to say what I think.

If it doesnt, then Ill continue.
Fox News likes destroying what humanity likes. Of course kids are buying games rated M. My neighbor(6 years old) knows more about guns than reading. Seriously. And I dont live in a poor neighborhood.

And what the hel do they know about gaming? Nothing. Im sure theyve never enjoyed a game enough to become a fan. Theyre just looking for news. Its the pathetic greed that Fox News shows to get more and more people to watch them.
